its true , All indian should think that Ravana is sucha great personality that He is the only person who recieves Athma linga from Lord Shiva ( such a great devotee) and brings Athma ling for his mother for worship after doing thappasu and satisfying Shiva ( this show a great love toward his mother ) . A great Human an a Great Vishwakarma Bramin ( as you knw it is he who do pre war rituals and tie kankana to Rama before war starts and bless rama with all the success ( As rama require some great Bramin to do yuudda kankana and request Ravan to do that on the behest of vibishana, and lot you can see great deeds of ravana and he never ill treat sita mata as if he minds he would not have kept her in safe at Ashoka vanaa. He kidnapped Sita to teach a lesson to Rama and lakshmana as they have ill treated shurpanaki by cutting her nose , ears etc ( tell me which god will ill treat women ) as shurpanaki is sister of ravan to teach Rama and lakshman for their mis deed he kidnapped sita . so
